NZJJF recognises and celebrates achievement:
Outstanding Service Award
This
award is made on behalf of the New Zealand ju-jitsu community to a
ju-jitsu practitioner who has had an enduring influence on ju-jitsu in
this country. It acknowledges one or both of the following:
Long-time involvement
A pioneer or practitioner who has actively promoted and developed New Zealand ju-jitsu over a substantial period of time.
Outstanding service
A
practitioner or administrator who has made a considerable and
beneficial contribution to a particular area within the New Zealand
ju-jitsu community.

International Representation:
Athletes
selected by SJJNZ to represent New Zealand at World Games or other
international level are eligible to wear the SJJNZ International
Representative badge following such representation. International
representatives prior to the formation of SJJNZ in 1999 may be
recognised with adequate supporting evidence.

Certified Instructors:
Coaches who meet the NZJJF standards for coaching and first aid may apply for recognition as a Certified Instructor.

Sport Ju-Jitsu Black Belt:
The SJJNZ Black Belt is awarded to competitors who achieve 50 wins in competition on the SJJNZ National Circuit.
